Album cover stuff.. .'.

So - I had a theme that I'd been mulling over for a while..


The front cover was rejected..
Well, more to the point: A request was made for Rachel to be in colour, my name had to be bigger (I had it small because I didn't want it to be like those airport books "Steven King [by] It" Rachel wanted a different photo... one too many changes and the whole thing has transformed.

I prefer the newer photo, but would like to have the old texture back (with maybe a touch more contrast)

I've been working on my 3D modeling and animation using blender, a free 3D modeler, renderer, etc..

Good fun - makes me respect folks like Pixar all the more.

a side-effect of my 3D play is joining a whole lot of computer art forums, a very education experience.

However, almost EVERYONE on the forums I've joined seem to have an attitude. Not an interesting attitude, just plain ol' confrontational.

It feels [literally] like a conglomeration of all the kids who got beaten up in school, or had no ability to stand up for themselves... behind a screen -they can be tough guys.

Sorry to sound so judgemental.. I've been on these things every day, checking out the new art, reading new hints and tips, etc.. and it just irks me when people get into these flame wars, and completely lose any grip on the original topic... guess it's kind of like school was though, pissing competitions took precedence to education.

anyway - Rachel's visiting for the next few days, it's been a transendental experience for the most part, something I think we both needed. (The last time she was in town I was nearing the end of the album project, so we didn't get to hang out.. not good to leave on such a note before 1.5 months away)

so yeah - happy, learning..

kinda ill - got some coldy/fluey thing.. gonna be interesting making coffee for people in this state - can't imagine anything seeming clean :)
